Vostochnaya Technica represents the whole range of Caterpillar equipment. Caterpillar produces over 350 models and is the world's best known manufacturer of mining, quarry and construction equipment, as well as machines for road construction including bulldozers, pipelayers, wheel loaders, hydraulic excavators, dump-trucks, diesel and gas-fuel generator sets, and many others. Company History: Important Dates

1902 - Foundation of the Barlow Company in Durban (Republic of South Africa).

At present Barloworld is a company with an annual turnover of USD 3,5 billion. Barloworld conducts business in 31 different countries around the globe. Scope of work includes selling and aftermarket support of Caterpillar equipment; production of cement, lime, pipes, paint; selling of automobiles; financial services and logistics; high-tech production.

Barloworld has been Caterpillar dealer for over 75 years.  

1978 - Wagner Equipment was established in Denver (USA) and was nominated as the official dealer for Caterpillar equipment in Colorado, USA.

Today Wagner Equipment is a family owned company with an annual turnover of USD 0,7 billion operating in Colorado, New Mexico, Texas (USA), and Mongolia.

The Company provides services for Caterpillar equipment with a focus on the mining industry.

1998 - Barloworld began the ominous task of creating a Caterpillar dealership network in Siberia. The initial step was to form a Russian company using 100% foreign capital under the name of "Barlows Tractor Siberia", which was then renamed as "Barloworld Siberia". Barlows Tractor Siberia (Barloworld Siberia) became the official dealer for Caterpillar in Siberia.  

At that time the Company had 87 highly qualified specialists and 9 regional offices. Its warehouses had Caterpillar spare parts stock worth USD 3,0 million.

Scope of activities: selling and servicing of equipment for mining, timber, oil-producing and construction industries, as well as diesel and gas generators.

1999 - Wagner Equipment signed a Sales and Service Agreement with Caterpillar for the territory of Eastern Siberia, creating the necessity to form a Russian company using 100% foreign capital under the name of "Wagner Siberia Equipment". Wagner Siberia Equipment became the official Caterpillar dealer for the territory of Irkutsk and Chita Regions as well as the Republic of Buryatia.

At that time "Wagner Siberia Equipment" had 20 highly qualified employees and 3 regional offices. Its warehouses had Caterpillar spare parts stock worth USD 1 million.

2004 - "Barloworld Equipment UK Limited" and "Wagner International LLC" merged to form a joint venture under the name of "Vostochnaya Technica". Vostochnaya Technica is focused on providing a high standard service throughout its whole territory spreading from Ural to Kamchatka.
